Be My Valentine
Happy Valentine's Day to all my friends and family. Todays post features the card that was made at all of my January events. Cute as it can be!

I’m All About That Face
This is the card that inspired the August calendar for the 2015 Calendar Project. When I saw that face in the Ray of Sunshine stamp set, I knew I had to have it. When I saw Justin Krieger's card made with this stamp set, I had to make it. I used the Scallop Circle Punch to create the Sun:
- Punch out the shape first with the Scallop Circle Punch
- Attach a strip of light-weight paper to it (I call the fish line technique). Use the strip of paper as a guide to hold and reposition your shape
- Insert the scallop back into the punch
- Offset the design half way between the scallops and re-punch

Don’t Cry Over Spilled Coffee
We made this card a while back at my October stamp camp. I actually sewed the paper with my mom's Singer Golden Touch n Sew sewing machine. It must be 40 years old at least. Its performance and my rusty skills were match perfectly to create the shabby chic effect I was going for. We used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to make it look like someone had spilled their coffee on the card. That was a hoot. Sponging added more shabbiness. I loved how it turned out for a masculine looking card. The crinkled twine used was defrayed burlap ribbon.

My New Years Resolution
This is a New Years card I received as a swap from the talented Cindy Williams. This inside is just as classy as the outside but difficult to photograph. My resolution for 2015 is to post more frequently on my blog. Wish me luck.
Happy New Year everyone! May 2015 bring you good health and prosperity.

Merry Christmas
This is my Christmas Card for this year. Hope you have a happy and safe holiday.

2015 Calendars
We made these calendars at The Gathering Place Holiday Event last night. The Gathering Place is a St. Louis area demonstrator group lead by Sally Nusbaum, one of my main peeps (I do have many). We will be making these at my December class and I can't wait for my customers to experience the thrill of making these because one is cuter than the next. I was honored and fortunate enough to be invited to be on the design team along with Sally and Kim Coulter. I really enjoyed doing this and learned everything I need to know to pass the experience on to my customers.
