The Tin Can Challenge

Each month the Pieces of Heart SU demonstrator group get together for dinner and a challenge.  This month Patti Schnell challenged us to alter a tin can—probably from a can of vegetables.  I Googled and Googled trying to find an idea.  I looked under paint cans, coffee cans, soda cans etc. with no luck.  I even looked under bed pans.  Then one afternoon I was browsing thru my mail when I came across a Macy’s ad.  The envelope had an just the  image of a Santa belt with a red background.  BINGO—I was inspired.  The Santa punch art was inspired by Patty Bennett.  Here is what I came up with:

please share what punches you used…the beard is the ornament punch, head/background, oval punch but what is the rest??? thank you this is a wonderful idea!

Love these Santa treats…………..very cool.  I especially like the holder you made to go with them.  TFS!
