Up, Up & Away
This card is so cool and filled the Masculine Card square for my Stamp Camp customers. They enjoyed the 11 rich layers and faux stitching technique used on this card.

Faux Patina
I recently attended a Stampin’ UP! demonstrator event hosted by Sally Nusbaum. We affectionately call these events, “Sally’s Regionals”. We spend half of the day observing demonstrations and the other half doing make & takes that feature new Stampin’ UP! products. I have been attending Sally’s Regionals for the past several years and the one held in September was by far my best experience.
The Faux Patina technique was a fabulous demo presented by Mary Derhake. As soon as I saw it, I couldn’t wait to try it.
My customers had a great time on Saturday making this card. They changed the stamp on the Jewelry Tag using the "4 you" stamp making a brithday card. This shows how versatile this card can be.

Comfortable Folds
This card was so much fun to make. I love paper folding and with a little Dotto, I was able to reposition each petal until it I got the perfect fit.

Tufted Puffs
This technique is called a Tuffted Puffs Background. When I saw the design by Gail Sachtleben on the Connection, I wanted to give it try. So I took my ruler, pencil and graft paper and made a primitive template. This took care of any guess work. Place a 3¾” square on the template with a little Dotto. Align a piece of scrap on the first guideline to create a mask. Sponge all the way across with strokes away from the mask. Slide the mask down to the next row and repeat. Once one side is done, rotate the square and repeat. I worked on this at a recent demonstrator retreat hosted by my upline, Pam D'urso and gave a copy of the template to all the demonstrators. Moonlighting
The moonlighting technique is simple and easy to do even though it looks complicated. A sticky note punched from the 2½” Circle Punch serves as a mask while the sticky part helps keep the mask in place. Begin sponging with the lightest color around the circle and then move out using the 2 darker colors blending each a little on the way. Remove the sticky note and you have the moon. How fun is that? The fence is created using the Designer Rosette Die. Thanks to my good peep Sally Nusbaum for letting me borrow her die.
