Joy at Christmas
The Deck the Halls Designer Paper Series has a vintage pattern that will give your holiday cards that old fashion Christmas feeling. The Cherry Cobbler cardstock is embossed making this card amaziing. I gave this card a swap at a recent Stampin' UP! demonstrator event and plan on it being a card selection at my upcoming Christmas Card Workshop on December 4, 2010. My Friend
This card is a somewhat monochromatic but with the various mediums and tools used, it doesn't look monochromatic. It's made using the new Daffodil Delight color in the Brights Collection by Stampin' UP!
The new 3mm Basic Pearl mounted onto a the flower punched with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack took this card to the next level of elegance. The Basic Pearl jewels are self adhesive half pearls that come in 2mm, 3mm and 5mm sizes. Look to see them often as I absolutely love them!
Daffodil Delight reminds me of sunshine but doesn't have the heat we are experiencing this weekend here in St. Louis. Our temperature today reached 97 degrees with a humidity that made it feel like 107 degrees. On a day like today, it's best just to stay indoors and make a card!
