Here are some final projects made during the Holiday season. I had a wonderful time stamping with great friends. And can now say, all supplies are back in their place and I'm ready to start making Valentine cards.

The Tin Can Challenge
Each month the Pieces of Heart SU demonstrator group get together for dinner and a challenge. This month Patti Schnell challenged us to alter a tin can—probably from a can of vegetables. I Googled and Googled trying to find an idea. I looked under paint cans, coffee cans, soda cans etc. with no luck. I even looked under bed pans. Then one afternoon I was browsing thru my mail when I came across a Macy’s ad. The envelope had an just the image of a Santa belt with a red background. BINGO—I was inspired. The Santa punch art was inspired by Patty Bennett. Here is what I came up with:

Valentines for Soldiers Stamp-a-thon
On December 10th, I hosted a Valentines for Soldiers Stamp-a-thon. Yes–right in the midst of the busy holiday season, some wonderful and talented ladies gave up a day of shopping for a day of stamping. We made 140 cards which was far and beyond my goal of 100 cards. We also had 179 previously made cards and 92 card fronts donated (thanks Judy Sumner). Thanks to Patti Schnell and Mary Ellen Cope who generously donated product for some of the cards. It was great friends who made this event so successful and I am so appreciative of your support and commitment.
I plan on hosting another event sometime in March for Mother's Day and Father's Day cards. I will let you know as soon as I have finalized a date. I hope you will be able to join us for this worthwhile cause.
A BIG thanks to my brother Dave, who came to support us by cutting cardstock, blending beverages and taking these awsome pictures:

Pines & Poinsettias
This card is a variation from our Up-Upline, Penny Thomas. I couldn't wait to use this stamp from the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set. I love using markers to color a stamp. This card has such a delicate and elegant look, I was afraid to touch it. Thought it might break.
This is is the last card from our Christmas Card Workshop. I haven't chosen a favorite. I really, really love them all. Do you have a favorite?
