I have always been terrified of watercoloring with an Aqua Painter. I don’t know why because it’s so easy. And how exquisite with the right stamp set and color palate. This is not just a Christmas card. I plan on using it as a birthday card.

Customer Appreciation
This past Sunday, my Stampin’ UP! demonstrator pals Judy Sumner, Mary Taylor and I hosted a Customer Appreciation Soiree to express gratitude to our clients for their support and friendship. We had three make & takes for them to do and a table spread with lots of delicious food & beverages. I also gave a short tutorial on how to use the My Design Studio 2 software to color a stamp using a variety of colors as in the Tweet Leaves card.
Our distinguished guest was our upline and friend, Pam D’Urso who came from Mahomet, IL to be with us. Her presence made our day extra special.
All three of us were totally wrapped up in the day that we forgot to take pictures. Maybe next time.

Valentines for Solidiers Stamp-a-thon
Over the weekend, nine terrific ladies joined me at my 2nd annual Valentines for Soldiers Stamp-a-thon. We had a wonderful time making 158 Valentines cards to send our soldiers stationed in the likes of Iraq and Afghanistan. Hopefully they will be able to send the love home to their families & loved ones with these cards.
Thanks to Barb, Elaine, Judy S., Judy T., Kathy, Marla, Mary, Patti & Sally for all your help and support. Thanks to Kim who was not able to join us but sent some money to help pay for postage.
To our dear Laurie who was not able to be with us. We hope your recovery is swift so that you will be able to rejoin us real soon.

Wonderfall
This card is cased from a card LeeAnn Greff received as a swap from her downline, Karen. I thought it was adorable. Stamping images on a die cut was a challenge until I saw Dawn Olchefske’s tutorial on how to the stamp images with this stamp set. First you ink up the stamp, then lay the die cut on top of the stamp. Next you use a clear block to apply even pressure for the ink to absorb evenly. Finally, lift the die cut off the stamp.
I had a new customer at my stamp camp on Saturday and she aced this technique the first time. Awesome!!!!
