Welcome to my Blog

Today is my first post.  WOW!!!  It's amazing how easy this.  The reason why it's so easy is because of an awesome, and I me awesome, lady from Racine, Wisconsin.  Her name is Michelle Laycock from Laycock Designs.  She is a genius!!  Without her, I wouldn't be here.  Thus said, my first card is for her.  Thank You Michelle!!!!

The base of today's card is Rich Razzleberry with layers of Pale Plum then Cottage Wall DSP.  This color pallet is breath-taking.

Next is a layer of Pale Plum (embossed with Nestabilities) on Rich Razleberry.  To create the layered flower, I used the 5 petal punch with Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry and the Boho Blossum punch with Pale Plum attaching them with an Old Olive brad.  I popped them on with dimensionals.  The sentiment is stamped in Rich Razzleberry is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set.  I used the back side of the Rich Razzleberry ribbon to tie a simple knot.

Finally,  I first stamped a scrap of RIch Razzleberry with Pale Plum using the Flight of the Butterfly Set for a subtle monocromatic effect.  Then I used the new butterfly punch.  To add some character, I wrapped the body with DMC 3012.

Summary

Stamps:  Teeny Tiny Wishes, Flight of the Butterfly
Paper:  Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum Old Olive, Cottage Wall DSP

Ink:  Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum
Accessories:  5 Petal Punch, Boho Blossum Punch, Nestabilities, Dimensionals,  Ribbon, Brad, Paper Piercer & Floss

I hope you enjoy making this card.  It's pretty easy when you Stamp n Punch!!!
