Happy Birthday Susan
Susan Field is a fellow Stampin’ UP! demonstrator who has been the pilot on several road trips to various Stampin’ UP! events. I, am (affectionately) known as the nagigtor and serve as her co-pilot. Winter Flower
Even though the holidays are almost behind us, snowflakes are still relevant for the winter season. I used this ensemble of punches and die cuts to create a Winter Flower. The silver glimmer paper makes the flower glisten. I will be sending this to my peep, Mary Taylor for her birthday.
I’m also going to crop out the flower and use it as my Facebook badge for January.

Holiday Romance
I have always been terrified of watercoloring with an Aqua Painter. I don’t know why because it’s so easy. And how exquisite with the right stamp set and color palate. This is not just a Christmas card. I plan on using it as a birthday card.

Customer Appreciation
This past Sunday, my Stampin’ UP! demonstrator pals Judy Sumner, Mary Taylor and I hosted a Customer Appreciation Soiree to express gratitude to our clients for their support and friendship. We had three make & takes for them to do and a table spread with lots of delicious food & beverages. I also gave a short tutorial on how to use the My Design Studio 2 software to color a stamp using a variety of colors as in the Tweet Leaves card.
Our distinguished guest was our upline and friend, Pam D’Urso who came from Mahomet, IL to be with us. Her presence made our day extra special.
All three of us were totally wrapped up in the day that we forgot to take pictures. Maybe next time.
These are the make & takes from this lovely afternoon.

Hybrid Cardmaking
Purchasing Stampin’ UP!’s MDS-2 digital has been one of my round-to-its. Last week, I surfed across a U-Tube tutorial by Sage Kimble showing in detail, how to color a stamp using multiple colors. Don’t ask me how I got there, I just did. It gave me the perfect reason to get around to it. I purchased the MDS-2 upgrade, downloaded it, installed it and then open up the software. After that, Sage’s instructions walked me step by step on how to color the digital stamp. Once colored, I exported the file as a jpeg and it was ready to print. All this with going through only a half a bag of chocolate.
The Tweet Leaves image is the only digital image on this card. My customer’s at Saturday’s stamp camp were ever so happy that they didn’t to color the image with markers.
The MDS-2 software is now half price which makes it a fantastic bargain with endless possibilities.
