Everyday Enchantment

This card was made with the Sale-a-Bration Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper and Ribbon & Brad Pack.  It features the new Adorning Accents Edgelit Die and Embossing Folder.  Stampin’ Up’s Grid Paper, a clear Big Shot cutting pad and small pieces of removable tape are essential to make the learning curve a cinch.  Take your cutting pad to the grid paper, line up the edgelit onto the paper and tape it down.  Then take your cutting  pad to the Big Shot.  Make sure to place the tape on the part of the paper that will be unused.  The results of this embossed decorative edge gives this card the WOW factor.  I was squealing with delight!!!

Triple Treat Triple Flower

Over the next few days I will be posting the cards made at my January Stamp Camp. This card received a unanimous vote as the favorite card of the evening by my customers. The first time I looked in the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog, the Triple Treat Flower Single Stamp went on the head of my Wish List.  Had to have it.  Now I know why.  This color palate is perfect for this time of year.

Janet’s Birthday

My very dear friend Janet is turning 50 and there are several celebrations going on this weekend. I've made this special card for her and by the time you read this, the festivities will have concluded. I am wishing her many more happy years and welcoming her to the >50 Club.

This is a card made at a Stamp Camp last year (sounds like a long time ago when you say last year). Just now getting around to posting it.

Happy Birthday Pam

I made this card several weeks ago for the birthday of my upline, the talented Pam D'urso.  I got so excited about  the double bow that I decided to go ahead and put the card in my last stamp camp.  Love it!  I used a little bow making tool that I got several years ago (and never used) from thecardladies.com.    That tool makes it very easy. 

The card base is Basic Black and cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  Then a mat of vanilla that is 4 x 5 1/4, followed with a red mat 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 and then a piece of the Timeless Portrait DSP cut to 3 3/4 x 5.  The Image Piece is cut to 3 1/8 x 2 5/8 and matted on a black piece of 3 1/4 x 2 3/4.  I added one inch strips of strips to coincide with the sketch and decorated with a little bling.  I did a double bow with Red Satin and the circle is the 1 3/8 inch and the circle image is stamped in Black Stazon on Very Vanilla and punched out with the 1 1/4 circle punch.  I colored in the one flower with my red marker and added a single rhinestone to the center.

Frostwood Lodge

Masculine Cards are always a challenge but the Frostwood Lodge Designer Paper makes it easy.     The Cherry Cobbler quilted ribbon has the look and feel that reminds me of one of my Dad’s ties.  Definitely great for masculine cards.
