August's challenge with the Pieces of Heart stamping group was to create something using the 2012-2013 in colors. I knew that my little grandsons 7th birthday was coming up and would need a card for him so I would combine the two. David loves Legos so I decided to use all 5 in colors to create this Lego card for him. The inspiration came from Heidi Boos found on the Stampin' Connection. I simply changed the color combination.
Call me an Indian-giver. I made the card, gave it to him on his birthday, then took it back so that I could take it to the monthly dinner with my peeps.

Sahara Sand card base = 5-1/4” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” and folded in half
Sahara Sand 2-3/8” x 3-1/8” (design base)
Bravo Burgundy 4-1/4” x 1-3/4” (accent strip)
Bravo Burgundy 3-1/4” x 2-1/2” (design mat)
Sponge design base with Sahara sand. Stamp with Christmas Lodge using Bravo Burgundy.
Using the Signo Gel Pen, fill in areas on roof and ground. Let dry completely. Adhere to Bravo Burgundy Mat. Use 2-way glue pens over gel penned areas and sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds. Set aside to completely dry.
Stamp Christmas tree on card base using Sahara Sand ink. Stamp Merry Christmas using Bravo Burgundy ink.
Run Bravo Burgundy accent strip thru the Big Shot using the Perfect DetailsTexturz Plate.
Tie a knot basic knot using the Whisper White Satin Ribbon. Make a cut in the ribbon off centered. Wrap and adhere to the Bravo Burgundy accent strip. Adhere both to the card base.
Adhere the Christmas Lodge design section to the card using Dimensionals.
