Oh Hello
Unfortunately I can’t see well enough anymore for that kind of detail. (One of the reasons I love stamping is that you don’t have to have 20/10 vision). Now Stampin’ UP! has a new embossing folder that does the cross-stitching for us. What a great way to add subtle dimension to a card. Counted cross-stitching used to be one of my favorite crafts.
I stamped the oval pattern directly on to the cardstock on this card. At my stamp camp, I reduced the risk for my customers (and friends) by offering scrap cardstock and the Oval Framelit to create the background. Some took advantage and some made the bold move. Either way, the card is delightful.
