Zoo Babies
I attended the baby shower for Anthony and Shakarri Hamilton of Dublin, Ohio on Saturday. I am so proud of this devoted couple so my card to them had to have multiple WOW factors. The Zoo Babies stamp set makes a perfect baby shower card. The pristine cuts from the Dies by Dave framelits, popped the adorable giraffe and rhinoceros (for some reason I keep calling him a hippo) for first WOW. The second WOW is inside the card with a coordinating die cut gift card holder announced by that cutie potooty toucan.
A handmade card lets the recipient know how much you care. What was tucked inside the gift card holder may fade from their minds over time, but the card will stay in their hearts forever.

I’m All About That Face
This is the card that inspired the August calendar for the 2015 Calendar Project. When I saw that face in the Ray of Sunshine stamp set, I knew I had to have it. When I saw Justin Krieger's card made with this stamp set, I had to make it. I used the Scallop Circle Punch to create the Sun:
- Punch out the shape first with the Scallop Circle Punch
- Attach a strip of light-weight paper to it (I call the fish line technique). Use the strip of paper as a guide to hold and reposition your shape
- Insert the scallop back into the punch
- Offset the design half way between the scallops and re-punch
