Ferris Wheel

Ferris Wheel

The Ferris Wheel image on this stamp has to be a replica of the original Ferris Wheel from the St. Louis 1904 World’s Fair.  It just has to be.   Not that it was built for the Fair but it was there.    Well that’s my story anyway & I’m sticking to it.  This is the last card we did using the Feeling Sentimental stamp set from Sale-a-brations.  I just love this set and it’s breaking my heart to have it retire so quickly.

Another design by Carolyn King from down under.  Twelve layers just on the front alone—but who’s counting?

Penny-Farthing

The old British Penny and Farthing (quarter & penny) coins inspired the name of the Penny-Farthing bicycle.  I never really knew that.  Looked it up on my go-to Wikipedia.  This card is the second in my Sale-a-brations series using the awesome Feeling Sentimental set.  I’m just not sure how I am going to be able to live without this set when it retires in just a few weeks.

Sentimental Journey

Here’s a man card for ya.  The Feeling Sentimental stamp set is my absolute favorite from this year’s Sale-a-bration collection.  The images bring back some fond memories.

On this card I used the Night of Navy Classic Ink Pad and applied ink directly onto the top side of the embossing folder.  Then I inserted the Crumb Cake layer and ran it through the Big Shot.  Love how this turned out.
